Pastor Bobby Schuller continues his series “As a Man Thinketh” with the message “Everything is Motivated by Fear or Love” at Shepherd’s Grove on Sunday October 29, 2017.
Thoughts of love and thoughts of fear affect our decisions more than anything. Fear, anxiety, and worry are the most crippling emotions a human can have because when we succumb to them, we stop ourselves from growing. So much of being a matured person of faith is doing things that you're scared of doing. When God calls you to do something, it might foster fear within you. By accepting the love of God and the love of your neighbor, you can conquer your fears. You are never going through it alone.
Pastor Bobby Schuller continues his series “As a Man Thinketh” with the message “Willpower: Going the Distance” at Shepherd’s Grove on Sunday October 22, 2017.
This week, Bobby reminds us to be at peace with the pace at which God gets you to your destination. He is liberating you to be present in the long-term, and giving you freedom to do what you're called to do. Become the kind of person who is willing to do the hard work now, without knowing when it will come to fruition. Prioritize your will power, and learn how to get back up when things get tough. Remind yourself: I'm going to keep living in the rhythms of what I'm meant to do, whatever happens. God has a plan for me.

How we deal with tragedy, small or large, will shape how we live our lives. It's easy to have positive thoughts when things are going well in your life, but keeping those thoughts alive when life gets rough is just as important. Within every loss, there is greater life.
Katie Davis Majors, author of "Daring to Hope", shares her message "The Courage of Surrender" at Shepherds Grove on Sunday October 8, 2017.
10 years ago, Katie decided to move to East Africa unknowing that she would find something even greater than expected. Through her experiences, God grew her ministry and her family, but most importantly grew in her surrender. Regardless of the situation or the outcome, God will provide a way. And knowing this, trusting this, is courage.
Pastor Bobby Schuller continues his series “As a Man Thinketh” with the message “Believing in Destiny and Favor Romans” at Shepherd’s Grove on Sunday October 1, 2017.
Life is hard, and during life's lowest points it is difficult to remember that God is with us. But what we dwell on during each circumstance makes all the difference in the long run. Despite what it is you're going through, you can pave the way towards a beautiful life. The choice is laid before you: Are you lucky or unlucky? Believing you are one or the other will undoubtedly manifest that same belief over everything you do in your life. Faith makes things real. Pastor Bobby encourages us all to remember that, despite my imperfections, God is going to get me to my destiny anyway.
