We may encounter obstacles, but as we step out in faith, we will arrive in the Promised Land together and continue to grow.

This week, we welcome the newly-appointed interim pastor of Irvine Presbyterian Church, Tim McCalmont, to Shepherd's Grove on Sunday March 4, 2018. Before retiring, Tim served for 23 years as the lead pastor at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant in Costa Mesa. He has been a pastor for over 40 years, and currently serves as a moderator for the Syria-Lebanon partnership network. This network has helped build 6 schools for children who live in Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon.
Pastor Tim walks us through Rembrandt's painting, "The Storm on the Sea of Galilee." He reminds us that God is always at work, whether or not it is obvious to us. Rather than lashing out in terror, we should find God's settling influence, and let faith triumph over fear.
